Museo Anatomico Veterinario (Veterinary Anatomy Museum)
About 900 exhibits are housed in the Museum’s 300 square metres.
The Museum houses species of domestic animals for zootechnical production and affection. Inside there is a large number of anatomical preparations concernint dromedaries from the San Rossore estate and a collection of teratology. The horse is the most represented species for its importance in the historical-social evolution of man.
The online audio guide, through the use of QR codes, allows the museum visitors to listen to the audio comments of the collections on display, simply from their smartphones or tablets, managing their visit in complete autonomy.
