How to reach us
The museum is inside the Dipartimento di Scienze Veterinarie, in viale delle Piagge 2, on the right bank of the Arno River. It is around 15 minutes from the Train Station of Pisa Centrale or from Piazza Garibaldi.
The Museum, located on the first floor of the Department, can be visited (without booking) during the opening hours indicated, subject to availability of access to the rooms, in the case of school groups with guided tour bookings.
Arriving from the Trenitalia station of Pisa Centrale:
- Take the bus Line 14 – stop Piagge 1 and then continue on foot for 1 minute.
Arriving from the G. Galilei international airport of Pisa:
- Take the Shuttle Pisamoverto the Trenitalia station of Pisa Centrale
- Take the bus Line 14 – stop Piagge 1 and then continue on foot for 1 minute.
Arriving from the port of Marina di Pisa
- At the bus stop Marina Barbolani 2 take the bus Line 10 until bus stop Pisa Sesta Porta
- Continue by on foot to the Trenitalia station of Pisa Centrale
- Take the bus Line 14 – stop Piagge 1 and then continue on foot for 1 minute.
Arriving from the port of Livorno
- Take the bus Linea 5 until the bus stop Grande 5
- Take the bus Linea 1+ until the train station of Livorno Centrale
- Take the Regional Train until the train station of Pisa Centrale
- Take the bus Line 14 – stop Piagge 1 and then continue on foot for 1 minute.
