The museum will be closed.
NEW OPENING HOURS FROM SEPTEMBER, 1st
- September, from 1st to 20th: the museum will be opend on Fridays (4th and 11th), from 9 am to 2 pm.
On other days, you can visit the museum on a guided tour for a fee, by appointment, subject to the availability of museum staff.
- September, from 21st: the museum will observe the following opening hours:
Monday, 3:00 pm – 6 pm
Tuesday, 9 pm – 2 pm
Friday, 9 am – 2 pm
Please note that the ticket can be purched at the entrance only by cash. We apologise for the inconvenience.

How to reach us
The museum is inside the Dipartimento di Scienze Veterinarie, in Viale delle Piagge 2, on the right bank of the Arno River. It is around 15 minutes from the Train Station or from Piazza Garibaldi.
