How to reach us

The museum is inside the Dipartimento di Scienze Veterinarie, in viale delle Piagge 2, on the right bank of the Arno River. It is around 15 minutes from the Train Station or from Piazza Garibaldi.

The Museum, located on the first floor of the Department, can be visited (without booking) during the opening hours indicated, subject to availability of access to the rooms, in the case of school groups with guided tour bookings.

Arriving from the Trenitalia station of Pisa Centrale:

• bus n. 14 – stop Piagge 1 and then continue on foot for 1 minute.

Arriving from the G. Galilei international airport of Pisa:

• Shuttle Pisamover to the Trenitalia station of Pisa Centrale and then bus  n. 14 – stop Piagge 1 and then continue on foot for 1 minute.

Arriving from the ports

• From the port of Marina di Pisa: at the bus stop in via Barbolani take the bus Line 10 which leads to the “Sesta Porta” in via Battisti in Pisa and then continue by bus or on foot.
• From the port of Livorno: Lam blu to Livorno Central Station and then bus Line 10 which leads to the “Sesta Porta” in via Battisti in Pisa and then continue by bus or on foot.
